  • Communicate scope changes that may impact cost or schedule.
  • Oversee field repairs and patching activities as needed.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Field Project Manager serves as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring effective coordination and resolution of field-related project issues. This role oversees pre-erection planning, site coordination, and daily operations to support safe and efficient project execution. The position plays a key role in maintaining project schedules, managing field activities, and ensuring alignment across all stakeholders.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Coordinate pre-erection planning, including site surveys and preparation activities

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate is an experienced field operations professional with strong knowledge of construction and precast erection processes. They are highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to effectively coordinate multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. This individual demonstrates strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and successfully.

IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • OSHA 30-hour Construction certification required
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, particularly precast erection
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Knowledge of welding details and procedures
  • Proficiency in coordinating field operations and subcontractors
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally and frequent bending, climbing, kneeling, twisting, squatting, crawling, and repetitive hand/arm use
  • Capable of standing, walking, and moving throughout the facility for extended shifts of up to 12 hours
  • Comfortable working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, swing stages, and man lifts frequently
  • Ability to work safely in a production or field environment with moderate to high exposure to safety risks and hazards
  • Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions, including wet, hot, humid, and cold weather, and outdoors (Depending on location)
  • Ability to wear all required PPE, including but not limited to safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility vest, hard hat, and other PPE as required by the task, department, or work area.
