Job summary

Brice Incorporated is seeking a Student Project Engineer for a four-month, temporary assignment. The role is primarily field-based (60%–80%) with some office work, supporting the project team including the Superintendent and Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed postsecondary studies in construction-related fields.
• Able to enter data accurately and generate basic reports.
• Willing to travel to remote field locations and work a field-heavy schedule.

Responsibilities

• Collect and review timecards and equipment usage reports.
• Assist the Superintendent with daily project reports.
• Enter time and equipment data into Heavy Job software daily; track costs.
• Review and calculate quantities upon receipt of pay estimates.
• Coordinate with grade checkers for quantity calculations.
• Maintain an organized field office and update project diaries.
