Job summary

Baker Construction Enterprises Inc. in Sullivan, Indiana seeks a Field Project Engineer to support field activities, assist layout, manage daily resource needs, yard operations, costs, and scheduling with craft workers.

You will collaborate with the Superintendent, assist QA/QC, safety programs, and look-ahead planning to drive productivity on complex projects. Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of construction experience preferred; travel up to 100%.

Summary

The Field Project Engineer supports field activities and spends a majority of time working with the craft workers. Activities include support of layout, daily resource requirements, lay-down yard management, daily costs, time and quantities, logs, and daily and weekly look-ahead schedules, etc.

The Field Project Engineer will possess competency in the following areas in other to perform his/her role in a safe, productive, and effective manner. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university; or 4 years of construction related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
