Baker Construction in Tampa, FL seeks a Field Project Engineer to support field activities and work closely with craft crews on major projects. The role emphasizes layout support, daily resource planning, look-ahead scheduling, and cost tracking to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent construction experience and be committed to safety, QA/QC, and continuous learning through on-site training and certifications.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university; or 4 years of construction related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Support field activities and coordinate with craft workers
• Assist with layout, daily resource requirements, and look-ahead schedules
• Support QA/QC activities and project safety

Summary

The Field Project Engineer supports field activities and spends a majority of time working with the craft workers. Activities include support of layout, daily resource requirements, lay-down yard management, daily costs, time and quantities, logs, and daily and weekly look-ahead schedules, etc.
