Job summary

Lane Construction is seeking an on-site construction engineer to plan, coordinate, and manage daily activities, supervise subcontractors, and communicate progress to the project team. You will prepare monthly Owner pay estimates, review pay requests, and maintain job budgets, change orders, and cost reports for Director review.

You will lead weekly staff and regular review meetings and ensure CPM schedules align with project goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5 years of engineering experience in heavy civil construction.
• Strong planning and coordination skills.
• Experience with budgets, change orders, and cost reporting.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and manages on-site construction engineering daily activities and schedules and communicates with subcontractors.
• Prepares monthly Owner pay estimates, reviews subcontractor pay requests after updating the Project CPM schedule.
• Prepares and updates job budgets, change orders and cost reports for Project Director's/Manager's review and approval.
• Prepares and leads weekly staff and regular review meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
