Job summary

TWC Concrete is seeking a Field Project Engineer in Indianapolis to support project execution from start to finish, with a focus on documentation, coordination, and quality control for self-perform concrete operations. You will work with Project Managers and field teams to manage documents, schedules, shop drawings, RFIs, and change orders; travel as required to job sites and meetings.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret plans, drawings, specifications, and scope of work.
• Ability to respond to inquiries from customers and regulatory agencies.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
• Excellent communication with field management and customers.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project documents, addenda, RFI’s, and proposals, updating weekly.
• Assist in project scheduling and sequencing.
• Oversee material expediting, submittals, and delivery dates.
• Review shop drawings for contract compliance and coordinate routing.
• Attend preconstruction meetings with PM/Superintendent and design team.
• Maintain daily logs and progress photos; manage RFIs and change orders.
• Lead project QC, deviation reports, inspections, and testing reports.
• Support closeout, warranties, as-builts, and O&M manuals.
