Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Summer Intern to contribute to field project work on a Kansas field assignment. You will support project controls with cost, schedule, and earned value reporting while gaining hands-on experience across projects, technologies, and disciplines on an active construction site.

The role requires enrollment in an ABET-accredited program (Engineering, Finance, or Construction Management) with no prior experience required.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in ABET accredited university in Engineering, Finance, or Construction Management or related discipline.
• No experience required. Applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Controls professionals with cost, schedule, earned value, and quantity reporting, maintaining high data integrity.
• Perform routine aspects of planning/scheduling, cost analysis, and/or contract administration.
• Assist with Project Forecasting.
• Update Commodity Curves, Daily Production Trackers, and Equipment Logs.
• Assist in Earned Value tracking and verifying quantities installed.
• May facilitate meetings.
• Attend Site Safety Walks.
