Job summary

Crescent Energy is seeking a Lease Operator to monitor production, perform routine maintenance, and ensure safe, compliant operations on assigned wells. You will use SCADA, record data, and participate in safety and production meetings.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of lease operator experience or related work. Strong mechanical aptitude, math skills, and a valid driving record are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years lease operator experience or related experience preferred.
• Must meet and maintain eligibility to drive a company vehicle.
• General knowledge of safe oil and gas production operations.
• Experience using computers; MS Word and MS Excel a plus.
• Interest in engineering principles and subsurface/surface operations.
• Able to perform simple math calculations; good mechanical aptitude and writing skills.
• Must be dependable and able to work overtime if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Gauge production on assigned wells and record readings into the production system.
• Perform lease maintenance and minor repairs; trim weeds, clean up trash, grease pumping units.
• Note problems and recommend actions to minimize costs and maximize production.
• Witness meter calibrations; monitor rates and pressures; test safety systems daily.
• Assist with pump and compressor maintenance; obtain oil samples for analysis.
