Job summary

Aro Homes is seeking an experienced field engineer to serve as the engineering presence on active homes. You will own the field's inbound questions, provide timely fixes or clear no-go decisions, and ensure changes are implemented across all affected homes.

You will read architectural, structural, and MEPF docs fluently, perform Bluebeam redlines, update BOMs and field kits, and feed engineering with field-origin change requests.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction, field engineering, or related role.
• Fluency reading architectural, structural, and MEPF documents.
• Track record of closing issues and driving answers.
• Strong Bluebeam skills; BIM software familiarity a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the field's questions for superintendents and crews with clear timelines.
• Diagnose problems across architectural, structural and MEPF scopes.
• Make edits in Bluebeam, update BOMs and field kits, propagate changes.
• Triangulate when a discipline owner must decide, with full context.
• Convert field issues into well-documented change requests with photos.
• Verify changes on subsequent homes to close the loop.
• Support assembly weeks to protect schedules.
