Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a field maintenance technician at the Hahnville site to support chemical process analyzers and related systems. The role requires mechanical aptitude, instrument/electrician dual craft capability, and compliance with safety protocols.

Overtime, after-hours calls, and on-site presence are expected. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of operations in chemical plants, and a TWIC card or eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of operations experience in a chemical manufacturing plant.
• Dual crafted or willing to obtain instrumentation or electrician certification.
• Must possess a TWIC card or be eligible to obtain a TWIC card.
• U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• This is a field maintenance repair position focusing on process analyzers and related instrumentation.
• Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, and access remote portions of a large chemical plant.
• Base schedule is 40 hours with mandatory overtime including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Respond to after-hours call-outs for emergencies as part of the analyzer shop duty.
• Follow Dow procedures and PPE requirements at all times.
