Job summary

HEI Civil is seeking a motivated Preventative Maintenance Tech to join our field team across Texas. This role focuses on supporting fueling operations, performing oil, grease, and fluid checks, and keeping heavy equipment in top condition.

You’ll travel with the Oiler and Fueler to job sites, work according to daily schedule, and follow safety practices. Prior heavy civil experience is a plus, and a high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: Heavy civil construction experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the Oiler and Fueler and adhere to directions.
• Communicate with Oiler and Fueler and job site personnel to maintain high efficiency of fueling operations.
• Travel to job sites and complete fuel, oil, and greasing operations on equipment and vehicles.
• Travel with Oiler and Fueler to various locations around the front range Central Texas in fuel truck provided by HEI Civil.
• Work during hours directed by HEI Civil to keep our fleet running daily.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
