Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Project Scheduler to support Gulf Coast projects. The role will prepare schedule data for proposals and contracts, apply unit hour and pricing data, perform schedule integrations, develop recovery plans, and evaluate subcontractor schedules to keep projects on time.

Based at one of our Gulf Coast project locations, this position emphasizes cross-disciplinary teamwork and field collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) with 8–10 years of relevant experience or 12–14 years of experience.
• Experience in planning and scheduling functions including development, control and analysis.
• Ability to coordinate planning activities across multiple disciplines and collaborate with field teams.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains the schedule for a specific discipline area, identifying critical path activities and reporting to project management.
• Develops WBS and activity durations, and sets workflow logic ties.
• Evaluates subcontractor schedules for potential improvements.
• Collaborates with field engineering, construction and other project professionals daily.
• Participates in field construction execution activities, reviews progress and coordinates planning.
