Responsibilities
  • Designs construction work orders using the Work Management System (WMS).

Skills and Requirements
  • Must have at least a two-year degree in electrical or mechanical engineering technology or related field or seven (7) years of line worker experience.
  • Must be eighteen (18) years of age with a high school education or equivalent.
  • Must have valid driver's license, without restrictions, and a safe, responsible driving record.
  • Must be generally familiar with all kinds of line construction, materials, standards and procedures and have a working knowledge of the circuits, feeds, switches, etc., in the assigned area.
  • Must have the ability and personality to properly represent the Company in the field.
  • Must be familiar with the Company's published instructions and directives pertaining to the work and have the ability to write or print legibly and make accurate estimates, records and reports.
  • Has a thorough knowledge of the Company's operating standards, policies, and directives pertaining to the assignments and deals courteously with all customers.
  • Has a thorough knowledge of the safety instructions affecting the work and performs the work accordingly.
  • Works assigned overtime and responds to emergency assignments.
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the classification.
