Job summary

Brindley Engineering is seeking a detail-oriented assistant to support senior designers and engineers in field evaluations of equipment and piping systems. You will develop 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings for engineering work packages and help prepare evaluation reports.

The role emphasizes accuracy, hands-on measurement, and collaboration with project teams in industrial settings; no prior experience is required, but strong communication and readiness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: Studying for a 2 or 4-year engineering or technology degree.
• Experience: No prior experience needed.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is required.
• Hands-on: Experience with measuring, building, constructing.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Field evaluation and measurements of existing piping systems
• 3D AutoCAD design of piping, equipment, structures
