Job summary

HF Sinclair Corporation seeks a Pipeline Technician for our Odessa/Midland, TX operations. The role performs essential duties in the Pipeline Department under close supervision, focusing on reliability and safety.

Responsibilities include working on pipeline equipment and pump stations, balancing terminal inflows/outflows, ensuring electrical and electronic systems operate correctly, calibrating safety devices, and generating reports to support daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of job-related experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline preferred.
• Working knowledge of the pipeline industry; basic reading/writing; math; communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate pipeline equipment and pump stations.
• Balance terminal inflows/outflows (Barrels in/Barrels out).
• Ensure equipment operates properly, including testing and repair of low voltage (480V or less) electrical/electronic equipment.
• Calibrate safety equipment.
• Perform quality control checks on the product.
• Respond to upsets and abnormal operating instances.
• Generate various reports for daily distribution.
• Verify compliance with DOT requirements.
• Ensure operations and safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Represent the company to third parties.
• May be responsible for dig test and dispatching as needed.
