Job summary

RigUp is seeking a Pipeline Operations Technician in Kenedy, TX, to lead contract crews, troubleshoot pipeline systems, and ensure safety and environmental compliance.

The role involves reading P&IDs and flow diagrams, coordinating with engineering staff, and responding to emergencies as needed. 60–80% travel across asset locations is anticipated. 5 days on, 2 days off schedule, with on-site work.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years oilfield experience.
• Experience reading P&IDs and flow diagrams.
• Able to travel 60–80% to asset locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear communication, teamwork, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Plan and prioritize assigned responsibilities and work.
• Be on-call for emergency situations.
• Read and interpret P&IDs, process flow diagrams, schematics, and alignment sheets.
• Provide field-based leadership of contract crews.
• Follow procedures and safety policies.
• Solve problems with engineering staff and leadership.
• Generate field reports in a timely manner.
• Participate in safety and team meetings.
• Perform pipeline flow troubleshooting tasks.
• Operate mobile pump equipment and pipeline cleanouts.
