Job summary

Acuren is seeking PLI Technicians in Saint Louis Park, MN for full-time roles. Approximately 90% field work with 10% at the home division, performing pipeline integrity inspections, data review, and report writing in support of client integrity programs.

Ideal candidates will have NDE certifications (Magnetic Particle Level 2, Ultrasonic Thickness Level 2) and a technical background. Relocation and sign-on bonuses are available for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Adequate QA documentation (proof of classroom hours & proof of experience hours)
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
• Technical background desired and pipeline integrity experience valued
• Must have current and valid NDE certifications (Magnetic Particle Testing Level 2; Ultrasonic Thickness Level 2)
• Candidate may hold additional certifications such as CIP/NACE Level I is preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct field examinations of pipeline sections and analyze inspection data
• Prepare and write pipeline integrity inspection reports
• Maintain reporting metrics on costs, productivity and priority digs
• Update pipeline integrity databases and manage FTP sites
• Assist with dig packages and cost estimating
• Supervise and train PLI Assistants and Junior Technicians
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and project procedures
• Coordinate with customer engineers and project managers
