R. B. Hinkle Construction is seeking skilled craftspeople with expertise in pipe, utility, or mechanical work to install, maintain, and repair infrastructure components. Candidates should read blueprints, operate tools safely, and support excavation and trenching for utility lines.

Outdoor work is common, requiring physical labor and adherence to safety policies. Team collaboration and reliability are essential for project completion across our sites.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in pipefitting, utility installation, or mechanical work.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, bend, stoop, climb, and stand for extended periods.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures per specifications and safety standards.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
• Assist with excavation, backfilling, and trenching for utility lines.
• Perform mechanical tasks such as assembling and disassembling equipment.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures; maintain a clean work area.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors; perform other duties as assigned.
