Job summary

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. in Waco, TX is seeking a Field Insulator to install pipe insulation on active construction sites. You will measure, cut, and apply insulation and jacketing per drawings and specs, while following safety rules and using hand and power tools.

The role requires travel and the ability to work in extreme temperatures in PPE, with lifting up to 75 pounds and long shifts. A background check and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of industrial pipe insulation experience.
• Experience with aluminum and PVC jacketing.
• Ability to read insulation schematics and technical docs.
• Must pass background check and drug screening; no DUI in past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and install pipe insulation for various piping sizes and systems.
• Apply vapor barriers, vapor dams, and secure jacketing (aluminum or PVC).
• Operate tools such as bending brakes, band saws, and banding tools.
• Follow installation drawings, specifications, and site safety requirements.
