Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Mobile Examiner to provide field coverage for mobile exams and in-center visits, performing venipuncture, vitals, specimen collection and processing while upholding safety and professional standards.

The role requires a phlebotomy certification or completion of a phlebotomy training program, plus at least one year of phlebotomy experience. Travel up to 25 miles and flexible scheduling are involved.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year phlebotomy experience.
• Minimum 100 documented successful blood draws.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all specimens are collected accurately and on time.
• Collects specimens according to established procedures.
• Conducts in center exams and mobile exams, which include taking basic vitals, medical histories, venipuncture, urine collection, and EKG.
• Responsible for completing application packets and other paperwork accurately.
• Label, centrifuge and split specimens as required by test order.
