Moxie Pest Control is seeking a dedicated Pest Control Technician to manage pest services for residential and commercial properties in Columbus, OH. The role emphasizes strong pest management techniques, excellent customer service, and safe operation of tools and equipment while working independently.

The technician will perform inspections, develop strategies, apply treatments, maintain records, and educate clients on prevention.

Qualifications

• Experience in pest control or related field preferred but training provided.
• Familiarity with farm machinery, power tools, hand tools, and landscape maintenance is a plus.
• Strong sales skills to effectively communicate service offerings to clients.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
• Must pass background checks as part of the hiring process.
• Physical ability to perform tasks that may include lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest issues and assess infestations.
• Develop and implement effective pest control strategies tailored to each client's needs.
• Apply pesticides and other treatments in accordance with safety regulations and best practices.
• Utilize power tools, and hand tools as necessary for pest control tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatments applied and follow-up actions required.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and educating them on pest prevention methods.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
• Drive company vehicles to various job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
