Job summary

A global technology company is seeking a Field PC Technician to service laptops and desktops in the Lansing, MI area. The role entails hands-on repair work, including replacing components like hard drives and keyboards, as well as performing unit swaps and managing service requests. Candidates should possess A+ Certification and relevant experience in computer hardware and software. Reliable transportation is a must for travel to various locations. This is a 3-month contract position with a base pay of $22.86 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on experience with laptop and desktop break-fix.
• Computer-building background experience preferred.
• General knowledge of laptop/desktop hardware and software including basic knowledge of Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

• Repair laptops and desktops in the metro area.
• Replace hard drives, motherboards, and keyboards.
• Perform whole unit swaps and repair/change PC peripherals.
• Close service tickets in real time using company phone.
