Job summary

Amgen in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Medical Value Access Liaison to advance value and clinical knowledge of products for payer audiences. This field-based role supports the Medical Value & Population Health team within Scientific Affairs, reporting to a Senior Director.

The position focuses on building relationships with payer accounts, IDNs and thought leaders, delivering evidence-based value communications and collaborating with internal stakeholders to align reimbursement strategies.

Qualifications

• MD/PhD/PharmD/US Medical Affairs experience preferred.
• Experience with US payer accounts and pharmacoeconomics a plus.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management are essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop programs, activities and relationships to advance value and clinical knowledge for payer community.
• Provide payer, formulary and health economics insights to internal and external audiences.
• Interact with internal stakeholders to relay customer trends and policy impacts.
• Represent Amgen to payer and IDN accounts and key thought leaders.
• Ensure compliance with company guidelines in all duties.
