Job summary

NETC Fleet Services is seeking a hands-on Supply Chain & Parts Manager to own parts inventory and procurement across its shop locations. You will conduct cycle counts, source hard-to-find parts, and ensure organized storage and reliable supply for fleet operations.

This field-based role requires regular travel between locations, with a on-site presence in shops and collaboration with service leadership to maintain parts availability and control costs.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in parts operations, procurement, or logistics.
• Experience with physical inventory management, including cycle counts.
• Procurement and vendor negotiation experience for hard-to-find or backordered parts.
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly between multiple shop locations.
• Strong organizational skills to design or improve physical storage/inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and manage recurring physical cycle counts across all NETC shop locations.
• Source hard-to-find, backordered, and obsolete parts via vendor networks and suppliers.
• Design, implement, and maintain standardized parts storage and organization systems at each shop location.
• Identify obsolete and slow-moving inventory and coordinate disposition with finance.
• Negotiate and manage vendor relationships for parts and shop supplies to control costs.
• Monitor purchasing activity to standardize procurement practices across locations.
• Anticipate parts needs by location to reduce downtime from stockouts.
• Partner with shop leadership on receiving, staging, and day-to-day parts availability.
• Travel regularly between NETC shop locations for counts and on-site support.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
