Job summary

3M HEALTHCARE seeks an EMT/Paramedic to deliver advanced life support in pre-hospital and hospital settings. You will assess patients, administer care per protocols, and support ED staff across diverse environments.

Responsibilities include comprehensive documentation, airway and circulation management, and acting as a liaison with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Must hold state EMT/Paramedic licensure and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; graduation from an approved EMT/Paramedic Program.
• Licensed in the state of practice as an EMT/Paramedic; NREMT registration.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from American Heart Association.
• Defensive Driving Certificate completed within 30 days of hire.
• Hazardous Materials Awareness Training completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality advanced life support in a pre-hospital setting.
• Provide care according to standard treatment protocols.
• Augment emergency department staff at various hospitals for sick and injured patients.
• Assess and treat patients of all ages in varied environments.
• Perform intake of medical history, exams, bleeding control, airway management, and circulation restoration.
• Document patient care accurately for billing and compliance.
• Safekeep and supervise advanced life support items and personnel on scene.
• Provide customer service to patients, families, and staff.
