Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Occupational Safety Health Analyst to support the FAA EOSH program across the Western Service Area. The role involves participating in investigations, conducting safety training, and ensuring compliance with OSHA standards.

Travel up to 50% is required, with postings in WA, CA, CO, UT, HI and AK, among others. Required qualifications include hands-on experience in multiple safety disciplines, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in four or more program areas: Asbestos/Lead Sampling, OSHA compliance, Confined Space, Fall Protection, Drinking Water Sampling, IAQ/Mold Sampling.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Travel roughly 25%–50% across the Western Districts.
• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years or Master's with 2+ years experience.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust Security Clearance (U.S. citizen or eligible).
• Preference for CIH/CSP/Associated Safety Professional certification.
• Fit-tested respirator wearer; enrolled in Respiratory Protection Program.
• Ability to climb structures for Fall Protection tasks.
• Forklift operator/instructor experience desired.
• Strong presentation and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support FAA EOSH program across the Western Service Area's seven districts.
• Assist EOSH investigations related to accidental releases, mishaps and employee complaints.
• Participate in safety training courses based on work procedures.
