Michigan United, an in‑person canvassing program based in Detroit, is seeking a Canvassing Fellow for the 2026 cycle. The role focuses on door-to-door voter outreach, education, and mobilization, with a mentorship structure and a strong emphasis on justice-oriented organizing.

The position runs through November 6, 2026, with a retention bonus and daily field responsibilities. Team-based trainings, data entry via MiniVAN, and a commitment to equity are core parts of the role.

Formación

• Excellent communication skills and comfort talking to the public.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to canvassing locations.
• Comfort with using a smartphone and digital tools for field work.
• Multi-lingual abilities are a plus (Spanish and Arabic).

Responsabilidades

• Direct voter contact through door-to-door canvassing.
• Record conversations and data in the MiniVAN app.
• Attend daily stand-ups and trainings; complete assigned materials.
• Participate in programmatic outreach and data integrity tasks.
• Support training curricula and long-term leadership development.
