Energy Transfer Partners, L.P. is seeking a Field Optimization Engineer in Texas to perform hydraulic and process modeling, identify improvements, and drive field projects.
You will manage regional gas gathering, processing and treating plant initiatives from scope through commissioning, coordinating with the Construction Group to meet design and safety standards. The role requires a Bachelor’s in an engineering discipline and 5+ years of related experience, with strong knowledge of engineering

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
Bachelor’s in Engineering Discipline (ChemE or ME preferred)
Previous experience in Natural Gas treating, fractionation, or processing industry
5+ years ofcombined engineering, operations, and/or project experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft Products and Engineering Programs
Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:
Working Conditions:
Normal office working conditions or at theproject site.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
Overnight travel is required when necessary to manage projects.
Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settingsmay include exposure to various materials and chemicals,extreme temperature conditions, and loud machinery and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
