Job summary

The Stronghold Companies is seeking an Operator - Vapor Control & Water Treatment to support mobile projects at refineries and industrial facilities. This hands-on role covers setup, operation, monitoring, and maintenance of specialized equipment for tank degassing and water treatment, with travel as needed.

A minimum of one year of relevant experience is required, with strict safety and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of relevant field experience.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed for projects.
• Must follow safety procedures and environmental requirements.

Responsibilities

• Mobilize, set up, operate, and demobilize temporary treatment systems.
• Operate and monitor oxidizers, scrubbers, vessels, pumps and related equipment.
• Inspect hoses, valves, fittings and tanks; verify connections and valve positions.
• Monitor temperatures, pressures, flow rates and instrument readings; report anomalies.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting and basic repairs on equipment.
• Follow all operating procedures and safety requirements; use stop-work authority when needed.
• Complete logs, inspections and shift handoffs; support material accountability and housekeeping.
