Job summary

Weatherford seeks a Field Operator to support Tubular Running Services. You will work hands-on with advanced equipment, perform maintenance, inspections, and safety-focused tasks while following Weatherford SOPs and policies.

You may lead crews at the rig site, mentor teammates, and coordinate jobs from start to finish, ensuring quality and timely execution in a dynamic field environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• 1–2½ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties according to Weatherford policies and complies with SOPs and Work Place Practices.
• Participates in daily operations and safety meetings, toolbox, JHA, and reports issues using appropriate tools.
• Maintains equipment, facilities and work area in a presentable and safe condition.
• Demonstrates knowledge of policies, procedures and documentation; follows Technical Work Instructions.
• Performs functional tests, inspection and monitoring of equipment with proper training.
• Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensions using measuring tools.
• Follows maintenance processes: unloading, disassembly, cleaning, pressure testing, inspection, assembly, loading, and storage of tools.
• Rigs up/down equipment per instructions and training level.
• Cleans, lubricates, repairs and operates equipment as per instructions and competence level.
• Maintains mechanical, electronic and hydraulic components per instructions and competence level.
• Drives pickup trucks and truck-mounted units to well sites; mentors other field operators.
• Senior roles may lead workshop, assign schedules, and evaluate work quality and efficiency.
• Performs other duties safely as assigned by supervisor.
