Job summary

Enbridge's Utilities & Power Operations seeks a Field Operator II to support safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production equipment in outdoor field settings. You will monitor performance, record data, analyze trends, and perform maintenance on pumps, controllers, and related field equipment, with a strong focus on safety and operational excellence.

This is a hands-on, field-based role requiring five years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of five years of Field Operator experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Strong knowledge of production equipment operations and applications.
• Knowledge of pressurized vessel safety concepts and safe operating practices.
• Experience using pneumatic pumps, hand tools, and power tools.
• Basic computer proficiency and experience using operational software and systems.
• Ability to analyze data and make sound operational decisions.
• Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate the performance, safety, and operating condition of production equipment in your assigned area.
• Track and record pressures, temperatures, flow rates, liquid levels, and other data.
• Analyze equipment performance and operating trends and take corrective action when needed.
• Maintain accurate field records and equipment documentation.
• Measure liquid storage tanks and report volumes per policies.
• Operate and troubleshoot pneumatic controllers, safety devices, pumps, and related field equipment.
• Perform maintenance including rebuilding or replacing pumps used for injection, heat transfer, and dehydration processes.
