Halliburton in Louisiana is seeking an Operator Assistant I – Frac/Acid to support field operations. The role involves delivering PSL equipment to wellsites, proppant handling, rig-up, and tank measurements, while learning basic operations and following HSE and quality guidelines.

You will work on flexible schedules, potentially long shifts, and be on-call with exposure to extreme weather as part of a dynamic team in the oilfield services sector.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 3–6 months of experience as Operator Assistant I – Frac/Acid or 1 year of related oilfield services.
• Must be able to obtain Class A CDL licensure.
• Satisfactory driving record with no DWI/DUI convictions in past three years or current charges.
• Completion of Operator Assistant I – Frac/Acid competencies, or similar experience.
• Able to lift 60 lbs.
• Able to pass background, physical and drug screen.
• Able to accommodate a flexible work schedule, long work days, and irregular hours; on-call with short notice; exposed to extreme weather.

Mansioni

• Delivers PSL equipment to wellsite under supervision.
• Provides proppant handling, manifolding rig-up, and tanks measurement.
• Learns basic operations including inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Operates support equipment (proppant handling, tanks, manifolding, lines).
• Adheres to Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures and other safety and quality protocols.
• Assists in assembly and preparation of equipment for installation and service.
• Assists in clean-up, repair, and preparation for the next job.
• Promotes safety and environmental consciousness and quality improvement processes.
• Completes training in the Company's learning development system.
