Wright Service Corp. seeks a Field Operations Technology Specialist to support and enhance field operations technologies, partnering with stakeholders to deliver training and coordinate testing and implementation.

The role focuses on improving efficiency, user experience, and data quality across operations. The candidate will translate business needs into technical specifications, assist with solution deployment, and contribute to continuous improvement while adhering to Wright’s safety culture

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced, highly interactive environment.
  • Experience with mobile applications and supporting users through change.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary support resource for assigned technologies and business applications.
  • Document issues, resolutions, and enhancement requests; monitor recurring issues.

Job Summary

The Field Operations Technology Specialist serves as a subject matter expert for supported field operations technologies and related business processes. This position is responsible for supporting, enhancing, implementing, and maintaining technology solutions that enable business operations and drive organizational effectiveness. The Field Operations Technology Specialist partners with business stakeholders to understand operational needs, support end users, deliver training, coordinate testing and implementation activities, and recommend technology solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, user experience, and business outcomes.

Essential Job Duties
Customer Support & Service Delivery

Serve as a primary support resource for assigned technologies and business applications. Respond to, investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve technology-related issues and support requests. Provide timely, professional, and customer-focused support to end users and business stakeholders. Escalate complex issues to appropriate technical resources, vendors, or leadership as necessary. Document issues, resolutions, enhancement requests, and support activities. Monitor recurring issues and recommend solutions that improve user experience and operational efficiency. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with users and stakeholders.

Business Analysis & Solution Development

Gather, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders and end users. Analyze business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement. Assist in evaluating and designing technology solutions that meet business needs. Translate business requirements into functional specifications and solution recommendations. Collaborate with stakeholders and technical resources during solution development and implementation activities. Support process improvement and technology optimization initiatives. Recommend enhancements that improve efficiency, effectiveness, and data quality.

Training & User Adoption

Develop and deliver training programs for end users and business stakeholders. Facilitate instructor-led, virtual, and one-on-one training sessions. Create and maintain training materials, user guides, job aids, and knowledge resources. Support onboarding of new users and introduction of new technology solutions. Assess training needs and identify opportunities to improve user knowledge and adoption. Provide post-implementation support and coaching to encourage successful technology adoption. Promote best practices and effective use of supported technologies. Gather user feedback and recommend improvements to training materials and support resources.

Testing & Implementation Support

Develop testing plans, test scenarios, and validation procedures. Participate in system testing, quality assurance activities, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Validate functionality and business processes prior to implementation. Support software implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and change initiatives. Assist with deployment planning, communication activities, and post-implementation support. Identify, document, and communicate system defects, risks, and improvement opportunities. Ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality expectations before deployment.

Continuous Improvement

Identify opportunities to improve technology utilization, business processes, and user experience. Participate in process improvement, enhancement, upgrade, and optimization initiatives. Support efforts to standardize processes and improve operational effectiveness. Contribute to initiatives that improve efficiency, reduce risk, and increase business value. Support, actively participate, and act in accordance with Wright’s culture of safety and employee ownership. Comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations; maintains knowledge of and follow all company policies and procedures. Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings.

Other Duties

May be required to provide on-call support during client implementation or technology upgrades.

Knowledge, Skills & Ability Requirements

Analytical skills such as critical thinking and problem-solving. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Ability to work independently and in a team environment and must have a proactive work style along with taking ownership of duties and responsibilities. Demonstrate excellent customer service focusing on rapport-building, listening, questioning and patience. Communicates effectively with all levels of employees, both technical and non-technical. Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced, and ever-changing environment. Strong organizational skills and tendencies; the ability to work on multiple tasks and projects concurrently; extremely detail oriented. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with employees and vendors.

Education, Certification & Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Technical Field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 3+ years of experience with working in a fast-paced, highly interactive environment. Technical experience in the aligned program area. Experience with mobile application and supporting users through change.
