Job summary

VoltaGrid is seeking a FIELD OPERATOR to support field operations in North Dakota. The role focuses on operating equipment, following precise procedures, and maintaining field systems to ensure smooth daily performance.

Responsibilities include hands-on equipment use, troubleshooting, and adherence to safety and environmental standards. A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required, with 1–2+ years in oil/gas preferred. Expect 14 days on, 7 days off rotation.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic tools.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work in extreme temperatures and heights if required.

Responsibilities

• Operate field equipment and related systems with precision.
• Work a rotational schedule including long hours, holidays as needed.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical/electrical equipment used in the field.
• Maintain equipment and tools in an orderly and safe manner.
• Complete training including safety and electrical safety programs.
• Coordinate with the operations team to meet daily metrics.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements on site.
