Job summary

Aditi Consulting in Waterloo, IA is seeking a Product Technical Support professional to assist PV&V field teams, channel partners, and customers with complex product problems using advanced diagnostic skills. You will reference published information, lead cross-functional problem resolution, and contribute to knowledge base updates.

Travel to the field may be required; the role offers pay of $42.57–$45.00 per hour plus traditional benefits.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Diesel Power Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, or Technology Management.
• Strong diesel engine diagnostics knowledge including electrical and aftertreatment systems.
• Knowledge of Battery Electric Vehicle Systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead troubleshooting of complex problems for field teams, channel partners, or customers using advanced diagnostic skills.
• Analyze data from multiple sources and work through cross-functional teams to resolve technical problems on new products.

Provide product technical support to PV&V field teams, channel partners, customers on complex product problems while developing channel partners' technical and Customer Support capability. May serve as a resource to other Product Support Representatives, Engineering, and / or Quality Improvement Teams, etc.

• Following the Problem Resolution Process, takes a lead role in troubleshooting and solving complex problems for field teams, channel partners, or customers using advanced diagnostic skills, and systems and tools to access all existing published information.


• Under the framework of established processes, takes a lead role in analyzing data from multiple sources and works through cross-functional teams to resolve technical problems on new products.


• May develop and author solutions/bulletins for complex problems that can be utilized by field teams or channel partners.


• Provide assistance in gathering identified parts needed for production intent updates.


• May travel to the field to provide problem resolution on complex problems or update machines with experimental or production intent parts

Payrate: $42.57- $45.00/hr.

Education requirement

• Minimum two-year degree in one of the following degrees or a combination of above skills and applicable work experience: Electrical Engineering Technology, Diesel Power Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Technology Management.

Technical experience

• Strong understanding of diesel engine diagnostics including electrical and aftertreatment systems


• Must have the electrical diagnostic background


• Knowledge of Battery Electric Vehicle Systems.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $42.57- $45.00/hr. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience.
