Job summary

Black Hills Trucking is seeking a Field Supervisor to oversee trucking operations in Williston, North Dakota. This full-time, in-field position requires leadership, safety focus, and the coordination of personnel, equipment, and regulatory compliance.

You will supervise dispatch, load/unload freight with equipment, and ensure timely delivery to drilling sites and customers. A CDL and 3+ years in trucking, along with strong communication and office skills, are required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent with 3+ years trucking experience.
• Proficient in driving, safety, and DOT regulations.
• Leadership, supervisory, and training experience.
• Knowledge of oilfield trucking and line-haul, heavy-haul, and rig moving operations.
• Possession of a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate safe and efficient field trucking operations across assigned areas.
• Direct personnel, equipment, and job assessments while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Maintain required records, reports, and communication with customers and management.
• Involved in the daily operations related to dispatch, field operations, and safety.
• Work with office and field staff, customers, regulatory personnel, and contractors.
• Load and unload freight and equipment with lifting devices and trailers.
• Arrange trailers to deliver products at disposal sites and job locations.
• Assist in interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work.
