Job summary

Chevron Shale & Tight Business Unit seeks a Field Specialist in Keene, ND to monitor and optimize oil, water, and gas production. You will work in upstream facilities and support midstream tasks, with emphasis on safety, data accuracy, and continuous improvement.

The role involves field time, equipment surveillance, and collaboration with IOC/night operations to maximize uptime and performance while following regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Industrial/oilfield experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft, SAP) is expected.
• Mechanical aptitude and safety awareness are essential.

Responsibilities

• Engage in safe work practices and start work checks.
• Report incidents and spills immediately per policy.
• Maintain PPE and field safety practices.
• Coordinate with team leaders at shift start and end.
• Ensure accurate field data capture using digital tools.
• Operate equipment and manage process controls (start-up/shut down).
• Support maintenance and repairs documentation (SPCC, LDAR).
• Participate in risk assessments and cross-area coordination.
