Job summary

The Simplot Company in Grand Forks, ND is seeking a Field Operations Coordinator to support raw procurement through potato scheduling and production reporting. You will coordinate deliveries with freight companies, loading crews, and plant teams, including travel to field sites for monitoring and testing.

Responsibilities include ensuring safety, food safety/foreign material control, storage management, and data collection across multiple production areas in North America.

Qualifications

• Technical/vocational certificate or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years related experience and/or training is preferred.
• Knowledge of potato production processes and quality benchmarks is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Raw Product Scheduling: direct and coordinate raw product delivery to meet quality, cost, and regulatory requirements.
• Crop Progress Samples: perform on-site sampling and document observations and photos for reporting.
• Raw Development/Sustainability: assist on special projects with Agronomy or Sustainability teams.
• Storage Management: compile storage data and monitor storability concerns.
• Administrative: support reporting accuracy and data in Raw Divisional reports.
