Job summary

PPC Partners Inc. is seeking a Manager, Operations to lead daily field and departmental operations, drive workforce productivity, and ensure project success.

You will oversee manpower planning, resource allocation, and performance tracking while mentoring field leadership and promoting safety and efficiency. You will collaborate with internal teams and customers to align with project goals, manage billing and labor productivity, and foster continuous improvement across operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-4 year construction-related degree OR completion of Journeyman apprenticeship required.
• 3-5 years experience in electrical, mechanical, or construction field required.
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience leading workplace safety efforts required.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in outdoor, hands-on construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Forecast week-to-week work and assign responsibilities.
• Analyze factors affecting results and maximize efficiency.
• Coordinate daily activities and approve manpower assignments.
• Ensure compliance with monthly reporting and OPS System usage.
• Monitor work authorizations and share resources across branches.
• Mentor and develop field staff; participate in recruiting and performance reviews.
• Maintain strong customer relations and ensure service quality and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Project Management to align field operations with goals.
• Manage billing, collections, accounts receivable, and working capital.
• Drive safety and continuous improvement; promote open communication on safety.
