Job summary

GridHawk LLC is seeking an Area Manager to lead and drive a team in Missouri, overseeing field operations, locating and auditing tasks, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. This role requires strong communication and supervisory skills to meet daily production targets on site.

The candidate will manage tickets, training, and tool usage while coordinating with corporate support and clients. A background in pipeline locating and DOT safety requirements is essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills required.
• Ability to read and interpret prints at a high level.
• Ability to teach and demonstrate proper techniques.
• Ability to resolve conflict between team members.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Extensive locating and pipeline technician experience.
• 2–3 years supervising locating and pipeline technicians.
• Clean QA record in locating industry.
• Background screening and DOT drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide the team with direction, focus, and support.
• Oversee daily scheduling of contractors and sub-contractors.
• Route tickets to optimize efficiency.
• Develop and implement daily production plans to meet targets.
• Review prior days documents and reports for accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with client regulations and safety rules.
