Field Operations Manager – Tampa Bay Region

Description

Palmetto Construction Services is growing! PCS is a commercial and industrial general contractor specializing in tenant fit-outs and interior renovations with operations across Florida.

Palmetto Construction Services’ continued growth has created the need for a new Field Operations Manager in the Tampa Bay region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage multiple in-house work crews across the Tampa Bay region.
• Collaborate with project management on scheduling and organizing various renovation projects.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and efficiency. Work with tools and equipment to exhibit expectations for results
• Provide clear and effective communication to team members and stakeholders.
• Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.
• Ensure subcontractors fully execute and comply with their contracted scope of work.
• Identify any conflicts in the construction process and communicate them to the project team for resolution.

Requirements:

• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is required.
• 10+ years of commercial construction experience is required.
• Excellent communication abilities with multiple in-house work crews across the region.
• Strong working knowledge of the means and methods associated with selective demolition, metal framing, drywall, doors/frames/hardware, acoustical ceilings, and general commercial carpentry.
• Demonstrated success in driving projects to completion within designated timeframes and budgets.
• Valid driver’s license.
