Job summary

Blue Ops Inc. seeks a Manager of Military Operations to lead a team in Florida, overseeing field operations, training delivery, and mission planning. You will supervise Military Operations Specialists, coordinate pre- and post-event activities, and ensure readiness across field deployments.

The role requires US citizenship, a related degree, and 5–7 years in defense or unmanned systems, including 2+ years in leadership. A active DoD clearance or ability to obtain one is expected.

Qualifications

• US citizen with DoD clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, maritime operations, military science, instructional design, defense systems, or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in defense operations, maritime or unmanned vehicle operations.
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory, team-lead, or personnel management role.
• Experience planning and executing operational events, exercises, or defense programs.
• Familiarity with USV systems, autonomous platforms, command-and-control software, or maritime operations.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise Military Operations Specialists; manage scheduling, tasks, and priorities.
• Coordinate participation in operational events, demonstrations, and testing activities.
• Develop pre-event plans, readiness checklists, and post-event debriefs with lessons learned.
• Maintain knowledge of USV operations and mission execution procedures for field guidance.
• Escalate risks and resource conflicts to the Senior Manager in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align mission requirements and deliverables.
