The Field Operations Manager

The Field Operations Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing daily field operations to ensure projects and services are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget. This role leads field personnel, monitors operational performance, implements process improvements, and serves as the primary liaison between field teams, customers, and senior management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily field operations and ensure work is completed according to company standards.
  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate field staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Assist in scheduling of field personnel and inspections when needed.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and all applicable safety standards.
  • Ensure company accreditations are maintained in good standing with DOB and IAS agencies.
  • Conduct regular field inspections and quality assurance reviews.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, subcontractors, and customers to ensure successful project execution.
  • Resolve operational issues, customer concerns, and field challenges in a timely manner.
  • Assist with resolving field reporting issues to ensure accuracy and timeliness of inspection documentation.
  • Analyze operational metrics and prepare performance reports for leadership.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning for field operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in field operations, project management, or operations leadership.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and operational best practices.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and field teams simultaneously.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to field locations as needed.
