Job summary

Rainbow Restoration of Milwaukee invites experienced field professionals to join as Field Operations Manager/Service Technician. You will support day-to-day field operations, coordinate crews, and ensure service quality for water, mold, trauma, and fire restoration projects.

Responsibilities include driving company vehicles with trailers, scheduling, and communicating with customers while upholding Rainbow Restoration's values and standards.

Qualifications

• On-call 24/7 emergency service availability.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to drive company vehicles with trailers.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Professional appearance and customer-focused demeanor.
• Experience in restoration or construction is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles with trailers.
• Read maps and directions accurately.
• Work with a team to service assigned jobs.
• Communicate scope of work and review necessary paperwork with customers.
• Establish and maintain a schedule to ensure timely service delivery.
• Meet deadlines and respond to jobs per IICRC standards.
• Perform restoration tasks such as water, mold, smoke/fire, carpet cleaning, and remediation as needed.
• Maintain company assets and stock, ensuring vehicles and equipment are ready.
• Assist with marketing and business development efforts as required.

As a Field Operations Manager/Service Technician, you are a key team member supporting the work of field operations. Your efforts contribute to the day-to-day contract operations of Rainbow Restoration. Exemplifying our code of values, you must show respect and courtesy to all customers and fellow team members. Specific Responsibilities

• Driving company vehicles with trailers
• Ability to read and understand maps & directions
• Work with a team
• Communicate with customers about scope of work and review necessary paperwork
• Establish and maintain a schedule to ensure all services are delivered in a timely manner
• Meet deadlines
• Possess or have the ability and willingness to learn and participate in performing:
• Water restoration
• Mold remediation
• Trauma scene cleaning
• Smoke & fire damage restoration
• Carpet & upholstery cleaning
• Content cleaning
• Lead remediation
• Boardup & tarp over services
• Property maintenance
• Construction projects
• Respond to jobs and initiate work in accordance with IICRC standards and Rainbow Restoration's internal processes
• Maintain company assets (equipment, vehicles, etc.) keeping them clean, properly maintained and fully stocked to be available at all times
• Perform marketing tasks to sell additional services or develop additional business as required
• Perform other duties as required. These duties may include job functions that are outside the scope of normal job duties

Job Requirements

• We are a 24-hour emergency service company, and all team members are required to be on-call and respond when needed
• Valid Driver's License
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional appearance and personality
• Team player who can work independently
• Smart phone and tablet computer literate, with working knowledge of work processing, business software applications
• Computer literate with proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook) and other computer software
• Ability to learn new computer software
• Experience in Xactware software would be helpful, but not mandatory
• Restoration and construction experience helpful, but not required
• Able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
• Willing to train supporting team members (stewardship)
• Career minded mentality planning for future positions/ownership, not just looking for a job for today.

Compensation

• Competitive Pay ($14.50-$25+ Hour):
• Service Technician (entry level/minimal experience): $14.50-$15.50 Hr.
• Service Technician 1: $15.50-$17 Hr.
• Service Technician 2: $17-$18 Hr.
• Service Technician 3: $18-$22 Hr.
• Lead Service Technician: $22+ Hr.
• Field Operations Manager: $24+ Hr.
• Project Manager: $25+ Hr.
