Job summary

Crescent Energy is seeking an Operations Support Superintendent to lead field-based teams delivering maintenance, automation, I&E, and measurement services across our South Texas assets.

The ideal candidate has deep oilfield facilities knowledge, strong HES leadership, and proven success managing vendors, contractors, and field operations. Travel to South Texas sites and after-hours support may be required.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical degree or equivalent oil and gas experience.
• 10+ years in oil and gas operations with leadership experience.
• Proven leadership of field-based technical or operational teams.
• Knowledge of HES requirements, regulations, and safe work practices.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to issues.
• Proficiency with standard maintenance-management and OT systems.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles.
• Willingness to travel throughout the South Texas area and work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible HES leadership and ensure safety in all work.
• Lead field teams in maintenance, automation, I&E, communications, and measurement.
• Coordinate with Operations to set priorities and improve reliability.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers on resources and schedules.
• Manage contractors, onboarding, quality, cost control, and compliance.
• Promote hazard identification, stop-work authority, and incident prevention.
• Support planned/reactive maintenance, facility projects, and emergencies.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, health, environment, safety and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in investigations and share lessons learned.
• Manage staffing, budgets, and service delivery.
• Develop team capability through coaching and training.
