Job summary

Duck's Poultry Service is seeking a Field Operations Manager to oversee multiple field teams at customer farms. You will lead supervisors, coordinate daily work schedules, and ensure quality, safety, biosecurity, and animal welfare standards are met.

This hands-on role focuses on developing supervisors, strengthening customer relationships, and enabling growth. Responsibilities include audits, training, and process improvements, with early start times and occasional Saturday work.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead multiple field teams through supervisors and coach employees.
• Strong organizational skills to coordinate changing field priorities.
• Experience evaluating performance and completing audit reports.
• Ability to enforce poultry service procedures, safety, biosecurity, and animal welfare standards.
• Willingness to travel to assigned farms and start early shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead field teams and supervisors to meet service standards for Moving, Vaccination, and Sorting.
• Conduct field evaluations and audits; monitor performance and address issues.
• Prepare weekly work schedules and coordinate with Transportation/Operations Managers.
• Support staffing, tools, and equipment; cover for supervisors as needed.
• Build customer relationships and manage vaccine inventory to maintain stock levels.
• Identify and implement workflow and equipment improvements for growth.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.
