Job summary

Spire seeks a Supervisor, Field Operations to oversee and coordinate field operations in Missouri. The role supports Administrators of Field Operations with construction, maintenance, pipelines, service, and safety initiatives while aligning with company policies and regional operations.

The position requires leadership of up to 30 contract employees, safety program oversight, and coordination across departments to meet regional goals and timelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license; Class E license available upon request.
• 2+ years of field experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OQ requirements and company policies.
• Understanding of HR processes and bargaining agreements.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate shared equipment and resources.
• Coordinate and oversee plans to attain departmental goals.
• Review jobs, inspect blueprints, and verify material availability.
• Meet contractors and municipalities; schedule start dates.
• Coordinate with other departments to optimize work flow.
• Assist in preparing and implementing the department's business plan.
• Prepare and coordinate safety activities for the region.
• Review paperwork: absence, safety, service tickets, and reports.
• Monitor crew performance to meet business objectives.
• Schedule training (OQ, Fire, Hearing, Halt, Respirator).
• Observe and evaluate new employees.
• Ensure timesheets and expense reports are accurate and timely.
• Oversee health and safety program implementation.
• Visit crews to verify progress and safety compliance.
• Assist in employee issue resolution and vacancies.
• All other duties as assigned.
