Job summary

Ferguson is actively seeking a Field Operations Manager to lead our South Region’s field operations and customer-facing teams in the Lowell area. You will drive inventory optimization, collaborate with branch leadership, and work with vendors to meet profitability goals while ensuring safe, efficient warehouse performance.

The role emphasizes process improvement, strong leadership, and adherence to OSHA/DOT regulations, with a focus on delivering reliable service in a fast‑paced distribution

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years of management/leadership experience with inventory/operations.
• WMS experience is recommended.
• Able to adapt processes to evolving business requirements.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership and decision‑making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of management protocols, practices and tools.
• Partners with General/Branch/Area Sales Managers to optimize inventory and profitability in HVAC.
• Collaborate with vendors to align profitability strategies and ensure timely inventory delivery.
• Work with pricing to sustain profitability initiatives.
• Drive safety, quality and profitability to meet company objectives.
• Ensure efficient and successful warehouse operations.
