Job summary

Archrock invites applications for a Field Supervisor in Midland, TX under the direction of the Operations Manager. The role directly supervises field service technicians and coordinates start-ups, installations, repairs, and maintenance needs across compressor packages.

You will partner with Fleet and Supply Chain to coordinate resources, manage field issues, and ensure accurate documentation and safety compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as engineering) or equivalent work experience.
• Previous experience in the natural gas compression industry.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to field personnel to ensure safe, effective work.
• Coordinate trucking for loading and unloading of units.
• Manage and resolve field issues including parts, logistics, repairs.
• Track service records to identify trends with compressor rental packages.
• Inspect units and ensure documentation for rentals.
• Coordinate start-ups, installations and returns of compressor packages.
• Report potential problems to engineering or maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and train team members.
• Perform routine inspections to keep units clean.
