Job summary

Vectrus, Inc. is seeking a Field Operations Lead in Fairdale, KY to oversee and coordinate operational aspects of ongoing projects within the W-TRS program.

You will serve as liaison between project management and Field Ops personnel, assess issues, and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals. You will monitor progress using approved systems, advise on contractual responsibilities, and develop partnerships with internal functions to support program

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline desired.
• AA degree with minimum 10 years prior relevant experience in US Government defense contracting.
• Practical experience and knowledge of the W-TRS program and related TADSS.
• Experience with competitive pursuits.
• Experience with U.S. Government ITAR/EAR.
• Experience with legal principles of contract management.
• Ability to identify risk and understand financial implications, strong analytical background; supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of TES/MILES Central Repair Activity at the Warrior Support Center in Fairdale KY.
• Coordinate the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between project management and the Warrior Support Center TES/MILES Repair Depot.
• Coordinate TES/MILES repair activity with installation Training Support Centers.
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals.
• Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
• Serve as primary WSC Central Depot POC to ISTS team.
• Support PMO with TDP development.
• May oversee TDP performance areas.
• Responsible for meeting program commitments including financial, quality, technology, and schedule performance.
• Participate in recurring program and customer meetings; risk/opportunity assessments, EACs, and status reviews.
• Use approved control systems and reports to measure progress and ensure contract commitments.
• Advise Field Ops team of program and contractual responsibilities; ensure policy compliance.
• Develop customer and program enhancing partnerships with internal functions (Contracts, Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, QA, Logistics).

Job Summary

• Responsible for meeting program commitments including the financial, quality, technology, and schedule performance of assigned program(s), company expectations, and established standards, using the approved business model and management tools
• Participates in reoccurring program and customer meetings, to include but not limited to risk and opportunity assessment and update, EACs, and program status reviews, etc. in accordance with specific business and program goals and obligations
• Uses approved control systems and reports that accurately measure progress, identifies potential problems in sufficient time for corrective action to be taken and ensures the meeting of company’s contract commitments
• Advises Field Ops team of program and/or contractual responsibilities and obligations, ensure compliance with company policies and procedures addressing programmatic matters.
• Develops customer and program enhancing partnerships with internal functional organizations; such as Contracts, Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality Control, Logistics, and administrative function
